“What about Martin?”
“He doesn’t do anything if I don’t allow Sean. When Sean and I argue, he doesn’t interfere.” She held Celine’s hand. “Maybe you could also talk to Sean. Tell him it’s not okay—that it’s too dangerous.”
“You want me to talk to him?”
“Yes. You’re also his mommy. Just so he knows that both of us will worry if he insists on this.”
Celine thought for a moment, then nodded. “Okay. I’ll talk to Sean. But what made him suddenly want that sport?”
“It’s Luis.”
Celine sighed. “Alright. I’ll talk to him. You’re really sure it’s not about a girlfriend, right?”
“No, Celine. I wouldn’t allow that either if that was the reason.” Faith laughed at her own remark.
