Faith’s POV
Dexter approached the sofa I was sitting on and rubbed my back. “Everything will be okay, girl. Take a break here. You’re always welcome to my house, okay? Feel at home.”
I smiled at him. Dexter had been with me during the times when I broke up with Martin. I had nothing then—no money, no family, and very few friends. Only Dexter supported me during the times I was in the hospital and staying in an orphanage.
