Chapter 50. People in My Past

Cristine's POV 

"Where are we going, Mom?" Ella asked.

She was sitting at the front seat as I drive the car. I just shrugged and looked at her. 

"You'll find out soon. It's a surprise," I said and chuckled. 

"I'm nervous."

I laughed due to what she said like I was going to take her somewhere dangerous. Of course I'm not going to do that, this surprise of mine will surely make her happy. 

After half an hour of driving, we entered a huge gate of Mendelive Academy. We stopped beside the guard's house and I slide down the window. 

"Good morning, Ma'am!" the guard greeted me.

"Hello! My name is Cristine Javier. I scheduled an appointment with Principal Wilfredo."

"Oh, I'll inform him, Ma'am! Just drive straight ahead; you'll see a map at the parking lot. Please check there where the principal office is."

"Thank you." I slide down the window and do what the guard said.
