Chapter 17. One Night Stand

Milan’s POV

After he left, I sat down and broke down in tears. I had gone through so much in the past few years after I was banished from my pack and honestly, I hated my pack for sending me away when they knew I had nowhere to go.

I was angry at my ex mate for rejecting me because he thought I wasn’t Luna material. I blamed my Alpha who decided to let the people’s words convince him to send me away instead of taking my side and understanding my condition.

I won’t blame him anyway, he only cared about his son more than anyone and the words of his son are final and no one can convince him otherwise.

My mind was so lost that I heard my daughter Ava walk into and close the door.

Her voice was what brought me back to reality.

“Mom, are you okay?” she asked, walking towards me. “You seem sad and something feels off with you.”

I quickly wiped my eyes, not wanting her to see me like this. “I’m fine, baby. I’m just a little tired, that’s all.
