Chapter 26. The Big Decision

“What happened was that Milan had a mate before I came in. Although she was rejected by her mate for not being Luna worthy and so out of sadness and hurt, she wandered into the cave that I was in and we ended up sleeping with each other.

It was dark so we didn’t get a glimpse of each other. So when I woke up the next day, I returned to the pack and later asked my men to bring her because she was sleeping soundly and I didn’t want to interrupt her beauty nap.

But when they got to the cave, they couldn’t find her, and since I didn’t know her name and her pack, finding her was difficult. When I went over to the Night Shade Pack

for the new Alpha appointment, I overheard them discussing one of their pack members who had been banished for cheating on her mate.

So when I asked about her, that was when I knew that she was the one and then I found out that our one night encounter got her pregnant and she was carrying my baby.”
