Chapter 70. My Sunshine

The rest of the week went by in a blur. I couldn’t believe how quickly time passed. I did start to notice a few changes in myself, though. Every time I got out of bed, I felt more tired than usual, and my appetite wasn’t as strong. Despite my efforts to hide it, he noticed.

But I was pleasantly surprised when he mentioned how much better I looked. He commented on the little things, like how the bags under my eyes were less noticeable and how my complexion had improved. It made me feel loved and cared for.

Every morning, he walked me to the bathroom, and at night, he kissed me goodnight. It was those simple gestures that made me feel so loved. I knew I had fallen for him hard, and I was grateful that he loved me just as much.

I couldn’t imagine my life without him. He was my everything. He had even risked his life for me, and now we were expecting a child together. I couldn’t believe how lucky I was to have him in my life.
