Chapter 125. Sea Transport

Aakifahlynn headed to her parents, who would all venture to the docks.

Approaching her parents' room, she heard jovial laughter. Pushing the door open, she saw her parents, Alpha Jarrod, and the Emperor engaged in a hearty conversation, and she could not help but feel a pang of jealousy.

It felt like Demarion was taking her favorite people away from her, especially when they noticed her and all fell silent. It was as if they were all conspiring against her, leaving her out of their inner circle.

She wanted to laugh, too, to share their joy. But it seemed like they had their own world, and she was just an outsider looking in. She couldn't help but feel the green-eyed monster of jealousy.

"Oh, sweet cheeks, how are you this fine morning?" Her father, Mr. Ludwig Thorin, looked up and greeted her.

"I am great," Aakifahlynn replied, hoping she did not appear annoyed.

"Well then, shall we be on our way?" Demarion moved from his spot by the window.
