Linda’s POV

The man studied me intently, his eyes narrowing as if trying to gauge my sincerity. After a moment of tense silence, he leaned back in his seat with a thought expression. 

“I saw that look in your eyes, Linda,” He said in a low tone as he continued to study me. “You know exactly what I’m talking about. The medical program about prolonging lives, Linda. Tell me what you know about that or you won’t be leaving here any time soon.” 

I did know what he was talking about though. And the only reason I knew about it was because I had been kidnapped by Kirby and was going to be used as the first human for their clinical trials.

I remember how very scared I was, it was something that had shook me to my core. Yes, the process was how I had found out that I was pregnant, but still, I would not wish that on anyone.
