Chapter 55

The hallway was large, and brightly illuminated. Brandon closely tailed me, however I knew he was also admiring the decor. I had always prided myself on the beauty of my pack, but at that moment, all pride dissolved into dust.

The chandeliers were made from gold, I was sure, judging from how beautiful they looked. Roman styled ceilings added more subtle beauty to it. Most of the walls were made of glass, thick one.

It had taken me a day to convince the council to allow me leave the pack. I hadn't told anyone, even Gaius about the call, or where I was headed to. When his pestering had become much, I had lied that I was going to the Redwood pack. That had created diversion enough. 'Plus lots of unnecessary advice I hadn't needed.' 

After walking for a while, the beautifully dressed servant stopped in front of a cream colored door.

"The Prinzessin would be here soon." And she ushered us in.

A frown however crept up my face
