The whole place was silent for a while as we all came to terms with what was facing us. Alpha Dennison, however, broke the silence a few minutes later. 

"We don't have to kill ourselves, we don't have to shed blood. We can be smart, and do so the right way. But if you insist we do it the old way, then who am I not to agree to that?" A sickening smile covered his face, and I stifled the urge to puke.

Dennison yelled from the distance, producing a scythe from his garment and holding it across Alpha Kaden's throat. 

It was attached to a chain so if he pulled the chain, his head would come rolling off. I growled at the sight, unable to contain my rising anger. 

"Would you love to see his head on a pike?" Dennison asked, looking at me. 

"Of course not, young lady. I know you wouldn't want to see him dead. And that's why I am giving you this one-time offer to do this the right way and we can avoid getting ourse
