My mouth widened in shock at the sight before me. The whole crowd gasped and so did my mother. Kaden quickly turned back into his human form, a bit of a smirk on his lips. 

"Let's go!" He said before he began walking towards us. I watched the headless figure of Gaius still sprawled there on the ground. I couldn't speak to him because it must have been a very hard time for him. 

The fact that Gaius was somebody he once looked up to as a father figure must be very painful as he had killed him. I felt an inner turmoil because of the empathy he must be feeling at the moment. 

Without hesitation, I quickly followed him and we all walked out of the arena. The whole place was still in shock and everybody was still rooted to their spot, except for the guards who were moving towards the corpse of the old man to get him ready to be buried.
