Emily’s Pov

"What do you want with me? Why am I here?" I shoot the questions with a trembling voice. Jimmy lets out a laugh and runs his rough fingers over my face; I dodge his touch for a few seconds, but it's not far enough. Against my reflexes, Jimmy holds my chin firmly, and his disdainful smile disappears completely.

"Don't pretend you don't like my touch, Emily. We both know how much you liked it before you joined my useless nephew," Jimmy shoots back angrily. I shoot him a look of hatred, which only serves to make Jimmy give me a wicked smile in return.

"Benson is much more powerful than you," I reply through gritted teeth. Jimmy tightens his grip on my jaw with his hands, and my face cringes with the slight pain it causes.
