Chapter 78. Infiltrating the Palace

"Here's your ID badge with your information to be delivered at the service entrance at the back of the castle," Alex hands me my badge.

I analyze my photo with my new appearance. I haven't gotten used to the drastic change that was necessary for me to be infiltrated inside my own palace. Jimmy can't suspect or recognize me while I infiltrate and converse with my allies.

It's been a long time since I talked to Emily. After Alex informed me that she had contacted him asking to scan a computer at the Moonshade pack and said she had managed to rescue her parents, I haven't heard from my destined mate. Concern waves through my heart, and moments when I find myself calmer to go over my entire plan.

The clock already strikes midnight as I enter through the back entrance of the palace. There's a line of at least fifteen people, employees, ready to clock in and start work in the early hours of the morning.
