And something else I couldn’t name.

This unnamed feeling was clawing, making me dizzy as I just stood there, phone pressed to my ear, deafening silence, and heart pounding…

“Aura?” No answer and I felt the world around me colliding. Did something happen? Was he being attacked by a rouge or something?

I didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t help him and if something happened to him, I’d never forgive myself.

Just when I was ready to break down, the breathing from the other side normalized and I finally sucked in a deep breath. “Aura?”
