Xerina’s POV

As the meeting settled, Papa and Rasmus exchanged a few terse words before moving to their office to discuss matters privately. Their exit left an air of unease among the Alphas, but it also signaled a momentary respite from the tension that had gripped the room.

I walked with Luca and Mama into the hall where refreshments had been laid out. The other Alphas were already mingling, sipping tea and engaging in hushed conversations. Eren mentioned it was a common place for interactions, a neutral ground where alliances could be strengthened and rivalries kept in check.
