Draco’s POV

My mind is consumed by thoughts of Daisy. It has been ages since Liam left to search for her, and I have heard nothing.

I’m scared that something terrible has happened to her, and it is all my fault. I had the chance to tell her the truth, but I didn’t.

I doubted her, and now something bad might have happened to her, and I feel like, I won’t be able to forgive myself if I don’t find her.

I was lost in my thoughts, my mind a million miles away, when suddenly the creaky office door broke the silence.

The sound startled me, snapping me back to reality. I turned my gaze towards the door, and my eyes widened as I saw Kaylee standing there, hesitantly pushing the door open just a crack.

Her cautious expression made my heart begin to race with anticipation. I sat up straight, my eyes fixed on hers, wondering what she had to say.

“May I enter?” Kaylee asked, her voice soft and gentle, as she pushed the door open just a little wide
