Chapter 27. First Fight

Emma’s POV

Walking out of Ethan’s office I don’t even bother to shut the door behind me. Storming up to our bedroom I slam the door behind me and scream out in frustration. My wolf is prancing restlessly in my mind as well. She also cannot believe that Ethan had the audacity to accuse her of cheating on him. Especially when I walked in on Emily kissing him.

Sitting on the edge of the bed I breathe in and out deeply trying to control my anger. I hear heavy footsteps outside of the bedroom door and I know that Ethan is just outside of the room. The doorknob to the bedroom twists and I hold my breath, waiting for him to come into the room. I am sure he is ready to continue our argument. But Ethan doesn’t come into the room.
