Chapter 30. Once the Contract Is Over

Emma’s POV

“Now let’s party!” Ethan’s voice booms over the crowd and everyone in the town hall cheers loudly.

Grabbing me by the waist he pulls me in closely and places a kiss on my temple. “Are you ready to mingle?” He asks me with a huge grin on his face.

“Do I have a choice?” I ask jokingly.

“Nope,” Ethan says, popping the ‘p.’

Shrugging my shoulders, I let out a little sigh. “Then let’s get to it.”

“First,” Ethan says dramatically, “we dance.”

“No, no, no,” I say as I try to pull myself away from his grasp. “I don’t know how.” I plead with him to spare me the embarrassment.

“Just follow my lead,” Ethan says softly as he leads me out onto the dance floor.
