Chapter 37. You Are Blind

Ethan’s POV

I stand in my office seething with anger as I watch Emma slam the door behind her. She must think that I am a fool. I saw them kiss. I saw it with my own eyes. Balling my hand into a fist I slam my hand into the wall beside me. Leaving another hole below the one that I have already made.

My office door swings open and I see Daniel standing in the doorway with an embarrassed look on his face. “I take it Emma has already talked to you,” he says as he scratches the back of his neck awkwardly.

A low growl erupts from my chest. “She didn’t need to talk to me. I saw you two kiss with my own eyes. Don’t worry, she will be yours in just a few short months.”

“What are you talking about?” Daniel asks me in confusion.

“I was standing on the hill when I saw you two kiss,” I growl loudly at him. “Now I know what has been going on all along.”

“You saw me kiss her,” Daniel corrects me. “And I am assuming that you didn’t stay around long enough
