Chapter 38. Together

Emma’s POV

Ethan and I both stare at the warrior as he waits for instructions.

“Where is my father?” Ethan growls.

“He is in the pack hospital, Alpha,” the warrior informs him and Ethan storms out of the bedroom without looking back.

Chasing Ethan out of our room I follow him down the stairs and out of the front door of the pack house. “What are you doing?” Ethan says as I slide in the passenger seat of his car.

“I am coming with you,” I say as I buckle my seat belt and wait for him to get in the car.

“We are fighting,” Ethan growls at me, waiting for me to get out of his car. “I don’t want you there.”

“I know,” I tell him. “But you may need someone once we get there and I don’t want you to be alone.”

“Whatever,” Ethan groans in frustration as he puts the key in the ignition and starts his car. “But you are waiting outside of the room.”

“Fair enough,” I say shortly, not really caring that he doesn’t want me to be in the ro
