Chapter 53. My Pregnant Mate Is Missing

Ethan’s POV

Stumbling out of the doctor’s office my head is spinning. I don’t know if it is because I am exhausted or because I just got the news that my mate was pregnant. I think the doctor is right, I don’t think Emma would have killed herself knowing that she was pregnant. So the question remains, Where is Emma?

As I am walking out of the hospital, Emily races to catch up with me. “Did you find her?” She asks. Her voice is laced with concern.

Turning around, I growl at Emily and she hops back from me in fear. “Did you have something to do with this?” I snarl at her.

“Something to do with what?” Emily asks and her eyes are wide with shock.

“With Emma’s disappearance,” I scream so loudly at her that everyone in the hospital turns to see what we are arguing over.
