Emma’s POV

I head out of Duncan’s office and I feel like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. Ethan had called looking for me, but just as Duncan had promised me he pretended like he didn’t know where I was. Duncan said that he would take me to the hospital as soon as he was done with a little bit of pack work. He instructed me to find the kitchen and eat whatever I found.

Slowly I wander through the downstairs of the Pack house. This place feels both new and familiar at the same time.
