Chapter 56. Three Years Later

Emma’s POV

THREE YEARS LATER

“Ezra Ethan Paxton, you better come back here right now,” I yell through the hallways of the Paxton Pack house.

I can hear his little giggles as he runs from me with three cookies in his hands that he stole from the kitchen. I pass by the movie room and peek my head inside. Daniel is watching a movie with Christina curled up by his side.

“Where is he?” I grumble as I walk into the movie room and click off the movie that they are watching.

“Hey,” Christina mumbles. “We were watching that?”

“Are you hiding him?” I say as I place my hands on my hips and wait for the couple to answer me.

“You know us better than that,” Daniel chuckles. “Who does he run to whenever he is in trouble?”

“Duncan,” I growl as I storm out of the movie room and in the direction of Duncan’s office.

“She’s scary now that she is a mother,” Daniel says loudly.

“I heard that,” I yell back over my shoulder.
