Chapter 34. Chasing Robby Away
Ayana’s POV
“No? Why, Mommy?” Lyana asks.
I walk closer, Robby’s eyes looking at me in disbelief. “That is because Robby still needs to attend to that something that he was attending to yesterday, baby,” I say, and I shift my gaze to Robby, our eyes locking as I trade a memo that I hope he understands clearly and obeys. “He was just waiting for you to wake up so he can say hi and goodbye,” I finish, and I give him a half wink to warn him not to dare sell me off to my daughter or screw me up.
Until his emotions are in check, I think this is for the best. He needs to keep some distance for a while. As for my daughter, I don’t know how I will handle her, especially with all this mess that we are tangled in, but she is my daughter. I will find a way to handle her.
