Raymond’s POV

Even after checking the guest room for what seems like the third time, I found no signs of the woman, nor her presence. It was as if she never visited, making me wonder if the guard had reported the wrong news.

I walked out of the room, and was about to call a guard for questioning when I suddenly saw Alec making his way over to me in a rush.

His expression was grave, and I already guessed that he must have gotten important news with regard to Madison’s disappearance.

“Alpha.” He bowed slightly.

“What have you found?” I asked, staring at him intently.

Alec began slowly, “Alpha, I found the trails of the warriors who took our people hidden in the wilderness which is also close to where the battle had taken place.”

My brows shot up, and I asked impatiently, “Have you found out where the trail leads to?”
