Serena POV

I almost jumped the moment his lips touched mine, but didn’t, only because there wasn’t room for any of that. My hands had moved on their own to push him off my body, but his hands almost immediately clasped around mine with iron grips. His grip was strong but not rough as he kept my hands still.

His mouth slowly explored mine, but trust I couldn’t move even if I wanted to. I was left paralyzed from the shock I experienced when he made his move. Of all that had happened that day, that was the last time I was expecting to happen!

He finally pulled back, leaving my lips wet from his sudden attack. He looked me straight in the eyes for a moment, and I stared back. I didn’t know if he was expecting some kind of remark or something. None came from me, so he finally looked away.
