Chapter 43
Cassandra watched as Damien brought out some camping supplies from his closet, particularly a sleeping bag. Then he took out a pillow from the several that were on his bed and placed it on the floor.
Piecing this obvious evidence together, she looked at him and asked, “Are you by any chance planning to sleep on the floor?”
“Well, of course. It is far more appropriate than making my guest sleep on the floor,” he replied.
“It doesn’t matter. This is your room, and I shouldn’t be sleeping on your bed while you sleep on the floor. It doesn’t seem right.”
Their banter continued for a while, and Cassandra finally decided to take the bull by the horns. She went over to the sleeping bag and tried to convert it for herself, but seeing this, Damien immediately grabbed it, and she held onto it, turning it into a tug-of-war. They struggled for a while until finally both of them were flung to different sides of the room as the sleeping bag gave up and tore into two pieces
