“I don’t know about this, guys. Maybe it would be better if I just went back home and confessed to my father. It’s not as if I’m not used to his punishment already.”

As soon as she said that, flashes of what her father’s punishment looked like quickly flashed inside Damien’s head. The last thing he was ever going to do was let her go, especially now that he remembered just how sick and awful her father had been when she had been poisoned.
