Chapter 11
Allison
“Allison!”
A voice called out to her, echoing her name over and over. It felt so near, but yet so far. She had no idea where she was because it was all dark, blinding her sight.
She tried walking toward the voice, trying to follow it. But it was becoming lower and lower no matter what direction she went. She knew it would soon disappear, and she was scared.
She suddenly saw a light and headed in its direction. It was a bulb that hung in thin air, nothing hanging onto it. She walked into the middle of the light, wondering what to do next.
Red roses began to fall from the darkness shrouded around her, staining the floor. The bulb fluctuated and turned off with no warning. She became startled, and her legs shook. Her instincts were telling her to run. She took to her feet, not bothered about what could be in the darkness.
The room began closing in, and she panicked. She felt like she was running around in a circle. She was trapped. She placed
