Chapter 64. Nowhere to Be Found

Sushmita’s POV

Today is the day. This is it. My dreams are finally happening again.

“A lovely day everyone, my dear family and friends, we would like to introduce to you the newest Resto-Bar in town with Filipino and Italian cuisines right in front of your tables while looking at the beautiful shores of Bacuit Bay, let’s have a round of applause for The Stars Resto!” Rod announces while all of the guests applause and screams in excitement because we have an opening promo.

“And especially, the woman behind it, please welcome Ms. Sushmita Erin Garcellano!” Rod added and they clapped their hands to me.

Rod handed me the scissors so that I could cut the ribbon. It was one of the happiest moments in my life but also, the most tragic. I cut the ribbon but a bullet suddenly struck my right chest, it came out of nowhere. I never saw who shot me and the cold rushed through my body quickly as I was laying weak on the floor.
