Issahil's POV
A sickening sense of dread settled in my stomach and at the same time my nose picked up the unmistakable rustic metallic smell of blood.
“What do you mean my son is missing?” I asked my father who just gazed at me with eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
Not waiting for his response, I made my way into the house but halted after barely taking a few steps.
Sprawled on the floor, at the end of the doorway and just before the bend leading to the living room was the lifeless and bloodied body of Claire Jobs, my son's nanny.
I could not hear any heartbeat coming from her. She was dead.
