The sun had dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows over the dense forest as we trained. The air was filled with the scent of pine, accompanied by low growls and howls.

I'd been sprinting with some other female wolves from both my father's pack and Alpha Matthias pack, a phase of the training to master our speed and agility.

The alliance with cloudfall pack had been formed and ever since then, we would often train together.

This time we weren't training in the human territory but in the forests surrounding the cloudfall pack, which they used as their training ground.
