The damp, cold air of the underground cell made my body shudder as I laid on the cold hard floor. My body was weak, I literally had no strength left in me anymore.
Thrown into a sudden coughing fit, my entire body shuddered, the iron chains binding me dangling and its sound echoing across the cell.
The cell was dimly lit, its only light was coming from a small barred window high above that was casting a dim, ghostly glow of the full moon over it.
I coughed again, my breath heavy. It still felt surreal that I was down here bound in chains by my own son. The betrayal stung deeply. My own flesh and blood had risen against me…
