Brenda’s Pov:

I sucked in my breath silently, and hoped this was something I could handle. I was not very good with people, and did not like to get into situations that required me to converse for long especially in a crowd.

“I am so sorry, please,” I apologized and looked at her face.

“Lisa?”

“Bren…Brenda hi,” she scratched her head, looking away. “I am so sorry I did not know it was you.”

“It’s fine. How are you feeling now?” I inquired.

“I am okay. And you?”

“I am perfectly fine, thank you.” I smiled.

“How is Mady? And Mia?” I asked.

“They are fine,” she replied.

“I hope they are perfectly fine?” I asked again, this time around about their health.

“Yes, they are doing okay.”

“You are not here together?” I asked, not knowing what to say anymore.
