Dominick’s Pov:

Immediately I got out of their camp, I let out the breath I had not realized I was holding, my heart beating fast in my chest. It has been long since I felt so much fear in my life. The last time was when I was much younger and encountered a leopard. I was not yet skillful as a werewolf at that time. But thankfully, my dad came to my rescue.

I have been the alpha of my pack for quite a while now, and even before then, I had been a very fearless werewolf. But today, I was filled with so much fear I would have peed on my pants. I am strong, but they outnumbered me. I would not have stood a chance if they decided to do anything to me.

I walked out confidently because I must not look weak. Perhaps it would make them feel I had come with backup, and that was why I was so bold.
