Chapter 27

Mia's POV:

I stretched tiredly on my bed and yawned loudly. I had been in bed all day, yet I felt very tired from doing nothing. My friends did not even try to look for me. I wondered what they were up to.

Well, since they weren't going to come for me, I decided to go to them. Besides, I was feeling very bored and lonely. I quickly dressed, not caring to do my hair properly. I just tied it roughly, walked out, and locked the door.

As I walked, I exchanged greetings with some of the people I met. A thought suddenly flashed through my mind. Why was I the only one without a lover or even a crush? Not once have I liked anyone, and no one has ever told me they liked me either.

Is everything okay with me? I didn't even care about what the other ladies did to look good and attract the boys, like doing their hair and wearing attractive clothes. Then I looked at what I was wearing. No boy would be attracted to me in this kind of dress. It was very big,
