Mattias’s POV

I pulled up inside the compound, my eyes landing on Lucas’s car.

“Why is his car parked in front of my house at this time?” I wondered, a frown etched on my face as I got out of my car.

I signaled my guard, who hurried his way to me, bowing his head slightly.

“Good day, sir,” my guard greeted.

“Lucas came?” I asked.

“Yes, sir. He said you sent him on an errand,” my guard replied, confusion growing inside me.

“I didn’t… hold on,” I said, hurrying inside the house, but to my surprise, the house was eerily quiet.
