Chapter 17. The Unfinished Love
“Are you sure you want to go all the way to Korea to climb a mountain, Aleah? Aren’t there other safer alternatives, like going shopping at the mall or visiting the beach?” Samuel asked, walking hand in hand with Aleah after they finished their tiring meeting.
Aleah nodded firmly, then looked at Samuel with a serious gaze. “Of course, there’s no better cure for stress than being in nature and enjoying the fresh air. Going shopping only provides temporary relief, but mountain climbing helps me feel much calmer.”
“Make sure to be careful and avoid any recklessness. Mountain climbing can be risky, especially when you’re going alone. Please take care of yourself, and ensure you return home in good health,” Samuel said with a touch of concern. “Once more, are you certain you don’t want my company?”
Aleah smiled and shook her head. “Sorry Sam, but I want to be alone. You don’t have to worry, I’ll take good care of myself.”
