Chapter 40. The Woman I Love
“Stop talking nonsense about asking me out, Rafael. You should leave me now while you have the chance to do so, rather than end up regretting being in a relationship with an old woman like me,” Aleah said, forcibly breaking Rafael’s kiss on her.
But instead of responding to Aleah’s words, Rafael picked her up in his arms and calmly carried her to her room where he laid her down.
“Rafael,” Aleah called as she held Rafael’s chest so that he could no longer kiss her. Even as she watched the spark of passion in Rafael’s eyes begin to turn into a full-blown blaze of passion. “Stop kissing me. I’m talking to you.”
“Aleah, how about we get married?” Rafael asked suddenly. For the umpteenth time, he ignored Aleah’s words. Without warning, Rafael placed a warm kiss on Aleah’s neck.
