Chapter 39. The Good Man

“A strange man asked for you, Miss Skyler. He said he wanted to see you, but I held back because I was afraid he was just a stalker with bad intentions for you,” Rose said as she entered and approached Aleah in the kitchen.

For a moment Aleah frowned in confusion, and then as if realizing something her eyes widened and wordlessly rushed out.
