Chapter 51. Wendy’s Jealousy

All night Aleah could not close her eyes for a single moment. She really couldn’t sleep well because Wendy’s words that Aleah was experiencing pregnancy symptoms were still ringing in her head.

“Here,” Rafael said, handing Aleah a white plastic bag containing five test packs.

To satisfy her curiosity, earlier that morning Aleah had asked Rafael to buy a pregnancy test at the nearest minimarket.

Quickly, Aleah took the plastic and hurried to the bathroom to try the test, while Rafael lay back down on the bed to resume his disturbed sleep.

Rafael slept for quite some time until the faint sound of sobbing was heard and made Rafael tiptoe out of bed and frantically run into the bathroom.
