Chapter 52. Suspicion

“You’re not exercising in the morning, is there something bothering you?” Aleah asked as she came out of her room to find Rafael exercising in the living room of their apartment.

Last night, Rafael had suddenly asked Aleah to go home, but she hadn’t said anything about why she suddenly wanted to leave her father’s vacation. It was a long walk from Lucas’s private villa to their apartment.

“Nothing is bothering me, I just want to exercise,” he said. However, a second later Rafael stopped doing his push-ups and chose to lie face down on the floor.

“Are you sure? Don’t you want to tell me about the reason you suddenly took me home from the vacation yesterday? You were so enthusiastic about the vacation,” Aleah asked seriously.

But before Aleah could hear Rafael’s answer, the ringing of the man’s cell phone interrupted the conversation between them. Lazily, Aleah stepped over to Rafael’s cell phone, which was sitting on the TV table.
