Chapter 34. The Scan

The feel of Jackson’s hand rubbing down my arm awakens me. Rolling over, I smile. As always, I love waking up next to him.

“Good morning, Queen. Time to get up and go to this scan. Marcus has decided to let us go ourselves. He is going to watch the girls.”

Okay, that is weird, but helps so much as I don’t fancy explaining today to whoever is doing the scan that I don’t know which one is the dad.

“Okay, well hopefully today we can sort all this mess out. I am going to jump in the shower.”

Kissing him, I climb out the bed. Getting showered, dried and dressed as quickly as I can, I walk back in to find Jackson stood dressed and ready to leave.

“Do we have to go straight away?” I look at him, confused.

“Yes, don’t worry. Food is cooked and Marcus should be okay with the girls for a couple of hours. They are still asleep though. I have told him to let them sleep and not to wake them.”

Nodding, I grab my shoes. It feels weird leaving the girls
