Chapter 25
On the way to his apartment, he took mental stock of his finances. He still had cash socked away in his bank account, but he’d be an idiot to access it right now. The money was meant for something else. Maybe later when he had a few paychecks under his belt, he could take a weekend trip, drive a few miles north and withdraw a large amount from the ATM or just arrange for a wire transfer.
It was great to have a nice, safe apartment away from the people he’d known for a couple of years. He needed to be very cautious of the neighborhood he stayed in. That was why he moved from one apartment to another now and then to keep his anonymity safe without attracting unnecessary attention.
