Alex’s body shook, and he forced himself not to punch through the wall beside him. He had more control than that - though it didn’t look like it lately. It was just very difficult to control himself whenever he was around her. He quickly withdrew from her, hoping it would calm down his wolf. Though he tried, he hadn’t been able to overcome this. His wolf had been on edge since that very moment two years ago. The only peace he had in a long while was when he had Anya in his arms. He never thought he would feel that way about a woman, a witch for that matter. It hadn’t crossed his mind he’d care for her as he did.
