Chapter 60

I stared at him adoringly. I had a small pain in my chest though. I did not like the fact that Jade did not feel too comfortable about asking me to heal his mother. That was something that I would have done for him in a heartbeat. 

He had helped me in so many ways that I did not deserve. If anyone deserved to be healed, it would be his mother. 

“I don’t get why you were nervous about asking me that, though. It makes me feel a bit sad. Do you not understand that I care for you?” The beating of my heart increased and I kept staring into his beautiful surreal green eyes. 

He chuckled lightly, a sound that I had grown to love. “No, no, I do understand that you care for me. Or at least I would like to believe that you care for me.” He continued to chuckle. 

“Well, Mr. Sanchez. Get it in your head. I care about you, okay?” 

He smiled warmly. “Okay, Mrs. Hill.” He laughed and I joined him.
