“Sure. We have a deal.” I gave him a warm smile and he smiled back excitingly. It was clear that he genuinely wanted to help me. I had a feeling that maybe it was because of his daughter; that he missed her so much and saw helping me as helping her.
“Great, let’s head in, shall we?” His voice was cheery. He opened the door of the cabin and led me inside. There were photographs hanging on the wall.
Each one of them had the man and his daughter in them. He looked younger in the pictures and his daughter looked so much like him; almost like the female version.
