Chapter 70

“Truly,” I said in between bites. I was eating the eggs and damn, I was right. They tasted fantastic. Too good that I almost forget that we were talking about my pack that was now lost in the wind, all thanks to Sam and his thirst for revenge. 

It was actually scary how that reminded me of myself. Because I did want the same thing. If Jade or my mom or the Moon goddess had not talked me out of it, I would have wanted to burn this whole town to the ground. 

I wanted revenge just as badly as Sam did. Maybe I was not all too different from him. But the only thing that distinguished us was that I had people in my life who told me what was right and what was truly wrong regardless of how I felt, and for him; well, all the people he had in his life were bitter and unstable just like him. 

“Are you Alpha Dalton’s daughter though?” Billy asked smoothly as he continued to eat. He was now done with his plate of food and was now on his plate of fruits now. “You are th
