Clary lingered at the door for a few seconds before deciding against it. “No, I don’t think that is a good idea.” And she knew that she was right, even though every part of her was screaming at her to stay. 

She knew that if she stayed, she would either end up under the sheets of Alpha or do something even more sinful. 

“Bad ideas make good memories?” He said playfully, even though he was really nervous, afraid that the omega would leave. 

Since they had mated, he had had this connection with her that was stronger than any other connection he had ever felt. Being away from her physically hurt him. He was falling in love with her even though he knew very well that he had a wife. 

Clary could not help but smile at the silly remark he had made. She peeled her eyes off him and looked at the doorknob, trying to keep her attention on it. She knew very well that if she looked at the Alpha, she would melt and give in to him.
