Chapter 107

Usually, when I had visitors, I would be taken to a room to meet them. Other inmates were not given that privilege, it was only given to me because of who I was: the future queen of the demon people. 

Jacob who was my visitor for the day should have been waiting for me in the room but it was different this time. He walked with me side by side until we reached my cell. 

The guards were less strict and that let me know that either Jacob had them wrapped around his finger or he had some solid relationship with the warden.

“So what do you want to talk about?” He sat on my roommate's bed and I stood with my arms folded on my chest. “Zayn said that you wanted to talk to me urgently, and that got my attention.”

“The deal.” I walked slowly and then sat on my bed. I watched a smirk grow on his face and I pursed my lips. 

“You see,” He chuckled. “I knew that you would come around. But sadly, the deal’s off the table.” He said in a matter-of-fact tone.&nbs
